My husband, Rob, disliked obedience training.  He found it too boring and just wanted to play with our dogs, Nika and Raina.  We were introduce to game based training and dog sports and we found this approach to training much more exciting.

I am member of the CKC, SDDA and BHA.

We tried agility, but didn't like the idea of crating our dog for most of the hour.  We joined hoping to spend time with our dog.  We found an instructor who taught fungility.   Agility with no strict rules or crating.  We just went out to socialize and have fun.  Then we tried a few trick classes and received our titles.  We have since competed in barn hunt, scent detection and sprinter trials.  Trials are a lot of funs fun and a great way to bond with your pet and spend time together as a family.

During the shutdown I started looking for DYI ways to entertain our dogs.  The dogs enjoyed it so much that I wanted to share it with others.  Great way to entertain your dog and not costing a lot of money.

Terri has taking many courses on reiki and massage.  She would like to take more holistic courses in the future and pass this knowledge onto clients.  She is working towards a fitness certificate as well, so she can help sport dogs with our new addition, Beatrix and elderly dogs.

Terri is certified in DOGSAFE canine first aid.
